LaTonya Staubs, also known as LaTonya Yvette, was born and mostly raised in Brooklyn, New York where she now raises her daughter River and baby boy Oak, with her husband Peter.  She began her career as a stylist,  working in various New York City boutiques. As her clientele grew, she stepped out of the comfort of styling under larger brands and assisting on sets to develop her own image consulting company. LaTonya used her talents to help pregnant women and new mothers transition their wardrobes to accommodate their new roles and bodies. In-between jobs LaTonya began her blog, formerly, "Old, New and The Wee One Too," now, "LaTonya Yvette." Her blog began as a way to document her various outings with her daughter River in New York City, but quickly turned into a place she could also share her passion for styling.

LaTonya has been featured on various sites, including Refinery 29, A Cup Of Joe, Well Rounded NY, Huffington Post Style, and many more. She has also worked as a brand ambassador, stylist, model, branding consultant and brand strategist for many companies including Bugaboo, Stone Fox Bride, BabyList, Ergobaby, Ford, Mother's Organic, and many more.

Today, you will find LaTonya writing daily about motherhood, style and life on her blog, in addition to contributing monthly tutorials on A Beautiful Mess. Between it all, she juggles social media marketing and branding for other brands and shops, while fiercely continuing her passion and career as a stylist.
